DevOps / SRE Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps / SRE Engineer to join our team and work on the evolution of our infrastructure towards reliability, automation, and observability practices.

Responsibilities
- Manage and support on-premise infrastructure and server environments.
- Work with virtualized infrastructure using VMware or similar technologies.
- Support and interact with IBM i / AS/400 environments.
- Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and participate in incident and root cause analysis.
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes.
- Help evolve traditional infrastructure operations towards SRE practices.
- Define and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability practices.
- Become a technical reference and help lead the evolution of the Observability practice.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, development, architecture, and operations teams.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure, DevOps, or similar roles.
- Solid experience working with on-premise server environments.
- Experience with VMware or similar virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge or experience with IBM i / AS/400 environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and infrastructure problem-solving skills.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability.
- Knowledge of automation and scripting.
- Understanding of SRE principles and practices.
- Ability to evolve from traditional infrastructure operations towards automation, reliability, and observability.
- Good communication skills and ability to become a technical reference within the team.
